Northolt Youth Collaboration Project

In partnership with Northolt High School and the YMCA, ESDEG co-runs the Northolt Youth Hub, providing holistic support to young people.

The project focuses on improving emotional wellbeing, resilience, and a sense of belonging.

Over the past year, our youth worker Rahma has supported around 117 students through:

  • one-to-one mentoring
  • daily lunchtime drop-ins
  • mental health and practical support
  • ongoing support throughout the school day

Her deep connection with students and staff has made her a vital part of the school community, earning her the title Youth Professional of the Year 2024.

Project Impact:

  • 70% of students reported feeling safer and more supported
  • 70% showed improvements in behaviour and engagement

This model is now ready to be replicated in other schools across London.
