Funded by the Mayor of London
The GLA Community Outreach Programme supports Londoners—especially those from underrepresented communities—in accessing education, with a strong focus on improving literacy and numeracy. In partnership with Ealing Council, local colleges, and community providers, the project has delivered weekly adult learning classes (Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 10:00 AM–12:30 PM), alongside drop-in sessions and community events across the borough.
Participants also formed a peer support network to continue walking together after the project ended.
Next Phase
An additional 20 participants will join the programme, and one volunteer will be trained as a qualified walk leader to support long-term sustainability.
Our Family Advocacy Support helps families navigate complex systems so they feel informed, supported and confident in making decisions for their children.
The programme supports families facing challenges with housing, education and accessing the right services.
These services help families feel more confident, supported and able to access the help they need.
Our health and wellbeing programmes support individuals and families to lead healthier, more balanced lives. We provide accessible, community-based support that focuses on both physical and mental wellbeing, creating safe spaces where people can connect, build confidence and feel supported. We are proud to be part of the Stronger Futures Programme, delivered in partnership with the Mayor of London’s Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) and Young Ealing Foundation. This initiative supports young people aged 8–18 in underserved areas of Ealing through structured after-school and weekend activities. Through this work, we provide safe, supervised environments that promote positive development, improve wellbeing and help young people build essential life skills. Our programmes support young people to stay active, build confidence, form friendships and access opportunities that support their long-term growth.
